Tapash Debnath is One of the well-known solo kathak dancer and choreographer till today. He maintains the style of Lucknow Gharana. He is a regular artist of Kolkata Doordarshan, Stage and Flim media. Many of his past students are well-known dancer and choreographer today. He belived without hard-work no one can reach his goal. For this it needs hard-practice.

He feels a responsibility to guide the little ones to develop a proper attitude and approach towards Art and a final commitment to society, thereby developing a good aesthetic taste and balance in life.

He Applies Kathak in different ways , like - Mixed with folk, Rabindranath Tagore, Different Ragas, Different Taal, Sufi etc.

He Worked in different Universities, Colleges and Schools.

He joined several prestigious dance festivals in Kolkata and Abroad also.
